Increased Security in Lieu of Pipe Bombs

Landlords and Building Managers are Ramping up security measures.

With the recent events of pipe bombs showing up at various buildings and

homes around the USA and NYC, property owners and managers are

increasing security. Mail and package delivery procedures are being

modified.

For example door people and concierges are being instructed to have residents

come down to pick up packages rather than sending them up as they have

done previously.

Building management companies are not disclosing the specifics of their

new procedures but will just say that they are being “especially vigilant, protecting and servicing our residents.”
